Final shootout for the Let’s Play Physical Education Challenge

With incredible support from teachers and learners yesterday, the 2018 Let’s Play Physical Education Challenge was contested by 8 finalist schools, battling it out to earn the ‘bragging rights’ as the fittest school in South Africa!

The enthusiasm and excitement from 800 participating Grade 4’s and 6’s was incredible and humbling to see how these kids have embraced Physical Education and in so doing, have built a wide range of motoric competences.

Finishing top of the leaderboard was Kroonvale Primary from the Eastern Cape, followed closely by Craighall Primary, Gauteng.

These schools will now go head-to-head on December 11 against the finalist school from the Northern Cape (who were unable to compete this week) to determine the final winner!

The prize – a R1.4 million all-purpose sports court courtesy of the Sports Trust!
