Senegal emerged as 2-0 winners over Guinea in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Group C match played at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro on Tuesday night.
The Lions of Teranga progress to the Round of 16 as Group C winners having won all three their group stage games.
Senegal will now take on a team that will finish third in either Group A or B or F in the Round of 16 on 29 January.
Guinea, on the other hand, finished their Group C campaign in third place with four points from three matches and they progressed to the Round of 16 as one of the four best third-placed teams.

The Lions of Teranga pushed for an early goal and they threatened first through Ismaila Sarr in the seventh minute.
Sarr, who had netted against Cameroon on 19 January, unleashed a shot that was blocked in the Syli National's box.
Guinea and Senegal both struggled to create clear-cut chances as the match progressed and most of the shots at goal were either blocked or missed the target.
The firs -half, which had few goalscoring opportunities, ended with the two teams locked at 0-0.
Senegal continued to apply pressure on Guinea's defence after the restart and they were awarded a free-kick after Sarr was fouled on the hour mark.
The resultant free-kick from Krepin Diatta was turned home by Abdoulaye Seck to hand Senegal a 1-0 lead.
The Lions of Teranga did not take their foot off the pedal after taking the lead as they continued to attack in search of another goal.
They got in the 90th minute through Iliman Ndiaye who netted with a low shot to seal Senegal's 2-0 win courtesy of Sadio Mane's assist.
